Our blades can be trimmed to any diameter between 42-in and 72-in for Standard, HP and HPL hubs, 42-in and 74-in for HX hubs, and 42-in to 82-in for OS hubs. Blade length cannot be added back once trimmed.
If you would like to use your blades on a new application or are not achieving your performance goals, you can send the blades back in to be trimmed to a shorter diameter.
Not sure if you have the best diameter for your application?
We offer a variety of blade modifications including an inlaid nickel leading-edge, tapered tips, and painted tips. All of these are secondary processes that can be done at any time over the life of the propeller.
A nickel alloy is inlaid into the leading-edge of the blade for increased protection. This extends the life of the blade and is highly recommend for harsh conditions such as rain, grass and/or sand.
Tapering removes blade area which reduces blade weight and allows for a higher blade pitch-setting which increases cruise performance.
Blades can be ordered with red or white tips as seen in the photo above.

Warp Drive’s proprietary manufacturing process results in a product with unmatched strength and durability. Damage occurring from normal use can typically be repaired. The inlaid nickel leading-edge can be replaced, which reduces the cost of ownership.
Depending on the degree of damage, you will be quoted ONE of the following prices per blade.
The blade damage is repaired and the blade is repainted and balanced.
The nickel is removed, the blade damage is repaired, the nickel is replaced and the blade is repainted and balanced.
Would you like to begin the repair process?
Our precision-balancing process allows us to build replacement blades for existing propellers instead of requiring a whole new propeller to be purchased when damage occurs.
Note: we cannot build replacement blades for propellers made before 2006.
All new propellers come with our H-model blades and replacement blades are available.
Though discontinued, we will continue to provide our “legacy” C-model blades to existing customers in need of a replacement.
